Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation planted various trees on roads of the city for this the city was also listed in Guinness Book of World Records. But people blames that after planting the trees AMC did not care for them and many trees were withered because of lack of water. However, opposition party blames that authority is showing a lot of expense in planting the trees and on the other hand many trees are dying because of lack of tree guard.
In 2008-09 AMC planted 44,500 trees, in 2009-10 it planted 85,000 trees, in 2010-11 4,00,819 trees were planted, and in 2011-12 2,02,755 trees were planted.

Gujarati youths who are trapped in Angola of Africa are in poor conditions. They are suffering with each passing day. 25 youths of Navsari are hostage in Africa and they family members are waiting eagerly for their sons to return home. Whereas 3 youths of Valsad are also trapped there. The family members says that they were not given salaries since last 4 months.

In order to consume drugs and gamble these people risks their lives as they climb down from old Ellis Bridge to the new bridge as there is a gap between the two bridges. They themselves, when asked, accepted that it is their habit of gambling that brings them to this place every now and then. It has been a while that these people are coming regularly to this place.
When contacted the security officials they said that they are aware of this illegal activity at this place, but they are not able to take any action as they do not have the authority to stop them. When contacted the additional city engineer of AMC, he consoled that action will be taken against this.

Two boys went missing for some reasons as they lost their way back to home. They were first found by Narol Traffic who later transferred them to Isanpur police station. Police started searching for their family members and at last found the parents of these boys. Hence they were reunited with their parents after two months.

One more murder in name of Honor Killing. Father of a 13 year old girl suspected her of having a bad character. Following this he killed her in order to save the so called reputation of his house. What was more shocking is that his other two daughters helped him in this murder and later they tried to present is as a suicide. But police tracked down then and has nabbed the three accused.
