After one year in laws of deceased Manish has been booked for for abetment to suicide..A year ago Manish jumped from Ambedkar bridge and died. A suicide note was found in his pocket which stated that he is committing suicide because of the embarrassment he underwent when his in-laws beat him up.
His sister in law eloped with some relative of Manish and for this Manish in laws blamed and beat him. Manish could not take the embarrassment and committed suicide. His mother is waiting for justice as she wants strict action should be take against in laws.
A minor girl was tortured both mentally and physically at the house where she was working as a helper. The girl was undergoing this inhumane torture for since last 2 years. She was denied stepping out of the house as well. Only once in a day was she supposed to step out of the house that is the time when she has to throw the garbage of the house.
The minor girl belonged to a poor family and a woman named Kavita brought her to Mumbai from Orissa promising her educating alongwith house hold chores.
The girl was also beaten up by hot spoons and rods.
A woman named Mantasha Yusuf Saiyad when saw the poor condition of the girl decided to free her from this torture. This lady took the girl to police station and lodged a complaint against the accused couple.
Sangeeta was tortured by her husband and in-laws for dowry. Her parents has already given 7 lac rupees in dowry by they wanted one more lac rupees.
Sangeeta was married before 9 years when her parents gave 7 lac rupees. He husband used to beat her brutally and her mother-in-law was helping him in this cruelty.
Sangeeta has 3 daughters and 1 son and her husband is a taxi driver. Her husband used to come home drunk and torture her.
Nalasopara police has lodged a complaint against husband and his mother for provoking Sangeeta to commit suicide.
On Sunday April 29, 72 Indian fishermen were released from Pakistan Maritime Security Agency. They were held from Arabian Sea off Jakhau coast on Friday April 27.
The PMSA personnel had seized 14 Indian fishing boats off Jakhau coast, with 85 fishermen on board, on April 27, and detained them mid-sea.
A lady student of All India Institute of Local Self-Government accuses the clerk of her college for harassing and making indecent demands from her every now and then. Tortured by his harassment since last three months she decided to end life by jumping off from Nehru Bridge. But she was saved by an onlooker. She is under treatment at V S Hospital. The woman is studying course of Sanitary Inspector since 1st August 2011. A police complain was also lodged against the clerk cum professor and principal was also informed about this but no action was taking following which the woman was depressed. She is mother of two and her husband says to take legal action against the accused. On the other hand college authority has also confirmed to take action against the clerk.
22 year old, Neeta used to live with her paternal aunt since last one year as her mother is dead and from 6 months her ant is beating her brutally. Her father is a working in police Harij.
Her aunt used to beat her every day and night with pincers and which ever tool that comes in her hand. She used to beat her up by blaming that Neeta does not know household chores. Neighbors used to hear Neeta’s cry and when they asked her aunt not to beat the girl so brutally, she used to abuse and fight with them instead and asked them to keep her with them if they feel so much for her.
But on Sunday her aunt crossed the limits she thrashed her brutally in the morning and locked her up in the house and went away. Neeta cried for neighbors help and her neighbors with great efforts rescued her through window and took her to hospital.
Police has lodged a complain against her aunt and has arrested her. Hearing about the incidents her other aunt arrived at the hospital and she too did not had any regret on her face rather was angry on the neighbors.
Neeta is undergoing treatment in hospital right now but is still under shock. Questions also arises as to how can he not know about such torment to his daughter. However, police is investigating further in the case and is interrogating her father.
