If you think that Live in relationship culture is brought from off shore than you might be not be completely aware of Indian culture. In Gujarat state there is a tribal region called Dang where Live in relationship is a common affair. Without getting married a couple can have children and can live for years together.
It might be surprising but the tradition is followed by community from ages, it not that they have adopted modern culture. The tradition is callen Naata Pratha. In the pratha the couple get engaged and start living together without wed lock. It is done so as they could not afford expanses of wedding so when they get financially stable they tie knot with band baja baraat. By that time they live together and can have children too which is legal in community.

In Thane there is a village where a man can wed more than once and can keep two to three wives at a time. Yes it is weird but true indeed. The village is facing water crisis since ages, surprisingly this is the reason of polygamy in village.
Man keeps more than one wife so that she can fetch water for drinking from distant places, it is an old tradition which is followed in today’s date also.

The goats named, Tiger, Dabang, Bodyguard, Badshah and Shahensha, participated in the goat fight competition. Total 30 such goats came from distant places to participate in this competition organized at Kolhapur. At the end Dabang of Kolhapur won the competition and received a reward of 5,000 rupees. This is tradition which is practiced since ages.
