Once again a woman is tortured and abused over having a girl child. A pregnant woman was beaten up by her husband because the baby in her womb was a girl.
The woman was married before 3 years and had a baby girl soon after her marriage. He in-laws who wanted a boy started torturing her.
The woman was pregnant for the second time and this time her husband threatened her not to bring from her parents home if she will again give birth to a girl.
When her husband came to meet her at her parents house where she came to deliver the baby, he kicked her hard on the stomach following a fight.
Soon after the woman complained of severe pain and was rushed to the hospital. There she gave birth to another baby girl but this time the girl was born dead.
Complaint has been filed against the husband and his family.

The two have had three successful career albums, with their last work in 2001 with the release of ‘Aatma’ post which they went on to explore and flourish in their own individual careers.
Now, 11 years later, they have come together to release their brand new album Colonial Cousins ‘Once More’.
In a first of its kind event, to launch their latest album, the duo took to the jostling promenade of Carter Road in the busy suburb of Bandra, Mumbai, in a musical ensemble that worked its way from Otters Club to the amphitheater, all along performing music from their new album on top of a 40 foot canter. The performance brought out fans galore from all around who came to watch the legends. The event concluded with the official unveiling of album Colonial Cousins ‘Once More’.

On Friday Ahmedabad Crime Branch arrested a zonal committee commander of Naxal outfit near Gita Mandir. The naxalite named Suhag Paswan belongs to Muzzafarpur in Bihar. He has20 cases of serious offences such as dacoity, murders, extortion, landmine blasts, etc. According to sources he was in state for four months and wanted to set-up his outfit base in Gujarat. He was wanted for over one year. He is also accused of blowing up police vehicle in which a sub-inspector and two constables were killed in Bihar. Cops of Special Task Force of Bihar were in Gujarat to nab the naxalite ever since his location was traced to Vadodara.
Crime Branch Assistant Commissioner of Police Nirlipt Rai said Paswan had travelled extensively through Patan, Kutch, Vadodara and Ahmedabad, to set up operations in the state. He was working as a labour contractor at Radhanpur in Patan district, and had been in Gujarat for the last four months.

Railway police nabbed five people who was spotted at the Surat railway station planning something fishy. These people were sitting near parcel office and were actually making a plan to rob the Gujarat Queen train which was about to arrive. They were planning to rob the passengers of the train. Police also seized weapons from these people. The nabbed accused are on a one day remand. All of these people have criminal background and the mastermind of the gang was nabbed in the past by railway police.

During an ongoing Ganesh Mahotsav in Govindvadi area Isanpur of Ahmedabd a gas cylinder blasted in Ganesh mandal.
The gas cylinders were kept there to bring out the fire flames from mouth of the dinosaurs kept there for amusement. For this both gas cylinder and oxygen cylinder were used. The gas cylinder leaked and huge amount of gas came out and a tiny spark led to a sudden blast.
Such was its impact that the man who was standing nearby the gas cylinder died on the spot as he was beheaded because of the explosion. Other 7 people were injured in this accident in which two were severely burnt.
In the entire accident irresponsibility of the organizers came out, the organizers did not took any precautionary steps and which led to the demise of an innocent person.
City mayor, Asit Vora and other senior police personnel rushed to the spot after the incident occurred.

A married woman in Mumbai committed suicide as she was tortured for dowry by her in-laws. She left a suicide note behind in which she clearly mentioned that she was locked up in a small room and was tortured both physically as well as mentally.
The in-laws of the deceased asked for flat as well as car which the poor lady was not able to afford.
On the basis of her note and complaint of her family, police has arrested her husband, mother-in-law, father-in-law and sister-in-law.

After a bit of rains there has been an outbreak of malaria, cholera and other such diseases because of the tremendous increase in number of mosquitoes in both Ahmedbad as well as Vadodara. In this year there has been 7000 cases of malaria are noted approximately in Ahmedabad. This is the result of litter and dinginess in the city and residents blames that corporation is not taking any steps to clean the areas.
Similar is the situation in Vadodara city.
