Parking woes for Boats at Porbandar Port

Boat man at Porbandar port are facing parking woes as parking place at the port is not suffice. There is facility of only 18,00 boat parking whereas number of boat is around 42,000. Boatmen are compelled to use anchor to park their boat, by doing this their boat suffer from damage.


Elderly Couple thrown out of house by Landlord, Ahmedabad

In Saraspur a family was thrown out of their home in which they were living in from last 46 years. Banuben would not have imagined such day will come in her life. According to her without giving any notice their landlord threw them out of their house. Even their furniture and other items were thrown as well. They did not care about the husband who is ill lying on bed.


Two held for trafficking food grain from Government Godown, Valsad

On Saturday Valsad Police arrested two for trafficking grain from a godown belong to government. Police arrested after receiving tip off from an eyewitness. He saw both the cussed loading the truck with grain from godown. Surprisingly the official of the Government Godown has denied to accept that the grain belong to the godown. Police is instigating in the matter.


20 more seats added in Bcom by Gujarat University

Gujarat University has added 20 more seats in granted colleges of Bcom as according to their data and records many students were deprived of admission. However admission commission is unaware of this decision,according to them they have come to know this via electronic media. Syndicate members are not happy with the decision as in may colleges seats are vacant. Decision of GU has raised many question which is unanswered.


Sales Tax officer caught red handed taking bribe, Ahmedabad

On Saturday Anti Corruption Bureau caught a sales tax officer red handed while taking bribe of rupees 25 lakh. The officer is identified as GK Rawal who is a class II officer. The complaint was filed by Bharat Patel who runs Techno Industries at Vatva GIDC. According to Patel he demanded rupees 75 lakh which was settled to 45 lakh and 1st installment of 25 lakh was scheduled to deliver on September 15.

As per the tip off received from the complainant the ACB caught the official red handed with money.
