Police does not give a clean chit to husband in the murder of model Bidushi Dash


In the death mystery of model and former Miss Chennai, Bidushi Dash, a mirror may have an integral role to play. It has been found out the the model and her husband, Kedar had a fight over a costly mirror a few days back before the model was found dead in her own apartment. The husband was allegedly upset on Bidushi’s choice over the costly mirror.
Police is investigating and has interrogated more the 20 people in the case including her husband Kedar and closed friends of the couple. The postmortem reports revealed that the death took place before 24 hours of the PM. Police is awaiting forensic reports that may disclose whether this is a murder or accidental death.

Four-month-old baby girl found from railway yard, Ahmedabad


Months after an infant, Pari, was found from the railway yard of Ahmedad railway station, another girl who is around four months of age has been found from the railway yard.
According to the railway sources, the Ahmedbad-Puri train reached Kalupur station in the morning. Thereafter, it was sent to the Kankaria yard where railway police was on a regular checking spree. During this time police constable Ramesh found the baby in S9 coach where it was wrapped in a blanket on seat number 30.
An RPF took the charge of the girl. The Government Railway Police is trying to trace the parents of the girl.
Meanwhile the baby is sent to Civil Hospital for a medical check-up.

World’s longest belt -Guinness world record


Yogesh Chawada of Bardoli who is a cobbler by profession has made longest belt which is 62 feet long. He decided to make world’s longest belt, he took 26-27 hours to make the belt. His name is registered in Guinness world record for making world’s longest belt.

World’s Smallest shirt, Godhra


Latesh a youth of small village sambli in Godhra has noted his name in India Book of record and Unique world record book by making India’s smallest shirt. The Shirt is 5.6 cm in length and 4 cm in width. Latesh from last 12 years is doing stiching job.

Students through soical networking site draws flaws of GTU


Students of Gujarat Technical University has made a page named Gujarat Tension University on Facebook to vent their anger and frustration for GTU. On the social networking site they draw flaws of the university.

Former Minister Amit Shah to contest assembly poll, Ahmedabad


Former Gujarat Minister of State for Home, Amit Shah, announced on Sunday that he would contest the upcoming state assembly elections. “I will not only be contesting the elections, but I am going to win this time also with comfortable margins,” Shah, who is currently out on bail. Shah , accused in Soharabuddin Sheikh and Tulsi Prajapati fake encounter cases.
In September, Shah had returned to Gujarat after a gap of two years, following the Supreme Court judgement allowing him to enter the state, rejecting the CBI plea to cancel the bail granted to him in the Sohrabuddin Sheikh encounter case. Since his return to Ahmedabad, Shah had been keeping a low profile and stayed away from public functions as well as media.
Shah, an executive member of Central Board of Cricket Ahmedabad (CBCA), is also the Vice President of Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA).
The CBCA elections will be held on November 10 and nomination of papers should be filed on November 5.

Colonial Cousins launches new album ‘Once More’ after ten years, Mumbai


Hariharan and Leslie Lewis known together as the Colonial Cousins are back after more than a decade to enthrall their legion of fans. Since the inception of Colonial Cousins in 1996, they have enjoyed massive popularity and their unique blend of traditional and contemporary music won over the hearts of audiences all over the country. The two have had three successful career albums, with their last work in 2001 with the release of ‘Aatma’ post which they went on to explore and flourish in their own individual careers.
Now, 11 years later, they have come together to release their brand new album Colonial Cousins ‘Once More’.
In a first of its kind event, to launch their latest album, the duo took to the jostling promenade of Carter Road in the busy suburb of Bandra, Mumbai, in a musical ensemble that worked its way from Otters Club to the amphitheater, all along performing music from their new album on top of a 40 foot canter. The performance brought out fans galore from all around who came to watch the legends. The event concluded with the official unveiling of album Colonial Cousins ‘Once More’.
