Claims has been made of hidden treasure in Bhemosan of Patan. It is said that the hidden treasure belongs to a king of Egypt. The sign of this treasure is still existing such as a key, a coin and one more antique on which Egypt is written.
According to the one who claimed in the past this treasure was given for safe custody by the king of Egypt to Kshatriyas of India who were known for bravery. Also the king entitled the Kshatriyas as ‘Mayo Thakore’. Later the treasure was brought in Patan and was buried in the ground.
In Patan the treasure was guarded by Harkhaji Thakore. But Britishers had their eye on the treasure for which they hanged Harkhaji Thakore.
Today, Sohamji Thakore has claimed that the treasure can be there in the land somewhere around the temple for which he asked for permission from the collector.
Following his application, the authority has approved digging the place to search the hidden treasure.
